Our school is called La Salle Benicarló. It is a Catholic state school. In our school there are about 550 students (300 at secondary level) from 12 to 18 years old and 40 teachers. Apart from English, our students can study French and German during 6 years. -The teachers in our school are quite young and motivated. We are in a constant learning process. We are very eager to see other ways of teaching and learn from others. We would like to join other countries in a Erasmus + Project to have the possibility of broadening our knowledge. We use the cooperative learning methodology. It will be very useful and helpful for us to see other methodologies. With this Project we want to learn about our cultural heritage, see the positive things that have preserved but also see the problems that we are facing because of massive tourism. We want our students to be aware of the relevance of maintaining local cultural traditions as well as learning different ones from other European countries. Intercultural communication means sharing and dealing with differences, becoming more tolerant and culturally richer. -The management team in our school will provide a group of teachers some time to coordinate the Project although most teachers will participate direct or indirectly in it. The coordinator will be the English teacher MARÍA JOSÉ BAYARRI, she coordinated another European Project and the accountant will be ALICIA PLA, studies coordinator. The headmaster FERNANDO FEBRER will also participate in the project. Other literature, history, ICT, economy teachers will collaborate in the activities. -To the project we want to contribute our experience from previous international cooperation. We also want to share with other partners our good skills in communication and interpersonal relations.
